
Malcolm Taylor
Managing Director
Joined Brintex in 1979 after six years as Advertisement Manager
with Municipal Publications Co. Ltd. Initially worked on Brintex's
portfolio of construction and mining exhibitions held in Europe,
USA and the UK. Appointed Brintex managing director in 1989.
Malcolm Taylor has extensive knowledge and experience in
international trade fair and event management gained from
organising shows for a wide range of industrial and commercial
sectors. Exhibition industry activities include being a Council
member of the Association of Exhibition Organisers.

William Butler
Exhibition Director
After an initial career at the Civil Service, Bill Butler made a
bold change in direction and joined the world of business to
business advertising sales working on a variety of trade magazines.
This culminated in him running the advertisement team for the
Municipal Journal, the leading weekly magazine for local
government. After a successful 12 years at Hemming Publishing, Bill
was ready for a new challenge and joined the exhibitions division,
Brintex, to head up its highly successful portfolio of Local
Government and transportation conferences and events. Bill was
appointed to the Brintex board in May 2003.

James Murray
Exhibition Director
James was born in Godalming, Surrey and, following a brief foray
into selling office equipment, began his career in exhibitions in
1991 working for Reed Exhibitions. He has remained in food and
drink trade exhibitions and whilst at Reed, then subsequently
Montgomery Exhibitions, worked on events such as Hotelympia, IFE
and the European Ethnic Food Exhibition. Having joined Brintex in
2002 James is exhibition director of the London International Wine
Fair and the Spirits business show, Distil.

Will Broadfoot
Marketing Director
Hailing from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, Will began his
marketing career with the formation of a market research company,
BEI, in 1991. He ran this for two years before being lured by the
bright lights of London where, after a spell at Amoco Oil, he found
a marketing position at the Hemming Group. He spent the next four
years working in the publishing division before switching to
exhibitions in 1998. Will now heads up the Marketing Department for
Brintex, working in particular on the London International Wine
Fair.

Amanda Mansergh
Operations Director
On her return from 18 months travelling following university,
Amanda moved to London where she joined a launch venture called GB
Magazine selling advertising space. She then moved to a publishing
company where she embarked on organising and marketing the biennial
Art Materials Exhibition in conjunction with the Artists' &
Illustrators' magazine. She joined Brintex 13 years ago as the sole
exhibition organiser but has built up the team alongside the steady
growth of the Brintex calendar, and now heads up the department as
Operations Director.

Lucy McPhail
Event Director
Lucy McPhail began her media career in business to business
advertising sales on a variety of titles before falling into
exhibitions when Emap launched its first fashion event 40° in 1996
for which she was then sales manager. She has since run exhibitions
and events in business sectors including education and broadcast
production and is currently event director for three Brintex events
covering emergency communications, international policing and the
board sports industry.
