Public Property Expo

QEII Conference Centre

Tuesday, November 23, 2010 - Wednesday, November 24, 2010

Relocation and modernisation of the £385 billion* public sector estate is a key item on the government agenda.  Every property in the government estate from schools to police stations are bound by the terms of the operational efficiency programme, the largest-ever cost cutting programme within the public sector.

Estate managers are coming under increased pressure to ensure that buildings are energy efficient and service providers, from telephone and IT networks to general maintenance, are giving the best value for money.

Taking place in London on the 23-24 November Public Property Expo will be the first ever national EXPO dedicated to the UK Public Sector Property community examing the present challenges and future solutions to the Government estate.

Whitehall property specialist Governetz has partnered with event organisers, Brintex, and their sister company, Hemming Information Services, publishers of the MJ, Local Government News, localgov.co.uk, Surveyor and the Municipal Year Book to establish this new events portfolio aimed to inform and stimulate debate around driving forward efficiency savings in public sector property.

In addition to the annual conference and exhibition, we maintain a dedicated programme of regional road shows and round table debates for public sector estate managers examining everything from FM procurement and asset sweating to the role that regeneration can play in joining up the sustainability agenda.
